This is a new type of planar drainage material made from a specially shaped plastic sheet (high-density polyethylene) coated with a non-woven fabric filter (polypropylene). It consists of two layers, with the core material designed to withstand soil pressure, construction loads, and high resistance to corrosion and chemicals in the soil. The filter part uses polypropylene non-woven fabric that prevents the intrusion of soil particles while allowing water to flow smoothly. This planar drainage material can be used in a wide range of applications, such as behind retaining walls, culverts, and horizontal drainage within embankments.
